Editorial: From D-pad to stick

My first arcade fighting stick, and not a bad purchase!

I was a good four or five matches into a losing streak that had come out of nowhere. Almost without exception there are depictions of Hell in some form or another found in every religion and every culture on Earth. Some say it doesn’t exist that it’s a metaphor, a figment of the imagination, a fictional place. A tool of the powerful religious elite used to control the faithful. Dead Or Alive 5 Game Review

Author: Larry Ragland

Playing fighting games against another player or even against the computer can be an absolutely brutal experience. I cannot think of another genre of games that has induced more controlling snapping spasms of anger as a sound pummeling in a fighting game has. Dead or Alive 5 is the polygon based incarnate love child of swift combos and punishing reversals. It’s lovable and maddening at the same time but either way it’s hard to say no to one more match.
